It took me roughly three years of shooting to realize what I enjoyed (and didn't enjoy) photographing. Landscape and Nature photography is what I built my technique and style around. Planning for a landscape photograph can take hours or sometimes days to plan and execute correctly and I love every minute of it, even the stressful parts. Hiking, climbing and snow-shoeing are all part of the experience and summarizing it all in one image is a great thing.
